Tan, who recently took the helm, will now have key chip divisions report directly to him in a move to streamline operations and enhance decision-making amid competitive and operational challenges. Sachin Katti has been promoted to chief technology officer and chief AI officer, overseeing Intel’s strategy and product roadmap in artificial intelligence.
