Actively AI, a New York-based startup, has raised $22.5 million in funding to roll out its new “sales superintelligence” platform, which uses advanced reasoning models to identify high-value sales prospects. Unlike most AI sales rep tools that focus on high-volume outreach, Actively AI’s custom models mimic top-performing human sales reps by leveraging logic-based decision-making for better results. The company’s approach has attracted notable clients and investors, with funding from Bain Capital Ventures and First Round Capital. Co-founders Anshul Gupta and Mihir Garimella, both AI alumni from Stanford, believe classic AI SDR solutions have failed, and their reasoning-driven strategy could revolutionize sales tech. While the market is crowded and the approach is still being validated, Actively AI’s progress signals increasing interest in reasoning-powered AI beyond major players like OpenAI.
