The shifting U.S. political landscape, under President Trump, is supporting increased fossil fuel production and rolling back climate commitments. While both companies maintain long-term goals for carbon neutrality and are investing in advanced clean technology, executives emphasized an “all of the above” energy strategy for now, distancing themselves from coal as a preferred energy source but keeping all options available as power requirements surge.
