Industry executives caution against overhyping the technology without a clear “problem-capability fit.” Adoption of AI shopping tools is growing, particularly among older millennials and Gen X, PYMNTS Intelligence found, with roughly a third of consumers reporting they use or would use generative AI for shopping.
