The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has released over 10,000 public comments received in response to a request for input on the development of the federal AI Action Plan. The initiative, prompted by President Trump’s executive order to remove barriers to American AI leadership, gathered feedback from a broad spectrum of the public—including academia, industry, and government—over seven weeks, covering concerns such as chip manufacturing, supply chain, AI model building, workforce development, and scientific research. The collected insights reflect Americans’ strong interest in shaping AI policy and the nation’s ongoing effort to remain at the forefront of AI innovation.
