Amazon Web Services introduced Amazon Quick, a desktop-based AI assistant that ties together users’ local files and a wide range of enterprise apps, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack and Zoom. The always-on tool builds a personal knowledge graph to understand work context, proactively surfaces relevant documents and threads before meetings, and can automate browser workflows and generate presentations, dashboards and images. AWS is adding no‑code app and dashboard creation (in preview), new Microsoft 365 extensions and expanded connectors, while emphasizing that customer data stays private and isn’t used to train external models. Early adopters include 3M, Mondelēz and New York Life, which cite time savings and faster decision-making. The move underscores AWS’s push to embed “agentic” AI in daily work as cloud rivals race to deliver enterprise copilots.
