Google capped October with a slate of AI updates spanning research, enterprise software and consumer products. The company debuted Gemini Enterprise to help corporations build and govern AI agents; unveiled a “Quantum Echoes” algorithm it says delivered verifiable quantum advantage, claiming performance roughly 13,000 times faster than top classical systems; and released a Yale-backed model aimed at uncovering new cancer-therapy pathways. Google DeepMind expanded AI work in fusion energy, rolled out a computer-use agent via the Gemini API, upgraded its Flow video tool and added “vibe coding” in AI Studio. Security features targeting scams, a Gemini-centered overhaul of Google Home, an Android XR headset experience with Samsung and a new Google Skills learning platform rounded out the push.
