OpenAI, Oracle, NVIDIA, and Cisco are collaborating to develop the Stargate UAE artificial intelligence campus, set to open in Abu Dhabi in 2026. Announced during President Donald Trump’s Middle East tour, the project aims to create expansive AI infrastructure across a 10-square-mile area with a 5-gigawatt capacity. The venture, involving Emirati firm G42, features advanced AI compute clusters powered by NVIDIA chips and Oracle’s computing expertise, with SoftBank and Cisco providing connectivity solutions. The initiative signifies the first international phase of a broader multi-billion dollar AI infrastructure mission, positioning the UAE as a significant global AI hub.
