The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced a new partnership with Nvidia to launch the Supercharged Sandbox, an initiative designed to let UK banks and financial services firms safely experiment with artificial intelligence. Starting October, participating institutions can access Nvidia’s AI hardware and software within a controlled environment, obtaining regulatory guidance as they test new AI solutions. The program addresses industry concerns over privacy, fraud, and the risks of deploying advanced AI tools in the finance sector, aiming to accelerate innovation while maintaining oversight and ensuring consumer protection.
