A wave of AI-focused companies is reporting sharply accelerating revenue, with several hitting milestones in progressively shorter intervals. Mercor said it doubled gross annualized revenue to $2 billion just four months after reaching $1 billion. Anthropic disclosed that its revenue run rate climbed to $47 billion less than two months after surpassing $30 billion, up from $9 billion in late 2025. Enterprise software players are also seeing AI lift growth: Sierra added a second $100 million in ARR in two quarters after taking seven to reach its first $100 million; Glean moved from $200 million to $300 million ARR in six months; Gusto said it topped $1 billion in trailing 12‑month revenue with acceleration over five straight quarters; and Clio reported ARR of $500 million after embedding AI. Comparisons warrant caution, however, as companies use varying definitions of ARR and run rate, and many figures are unaudited. The surge underscores intensifying enterprise adoption of AI, even as questions remain about durability and profitability.
