A new survey from Gallup, Jobs for the Future and The Families & Workers Fund finds U.S. employees who regularly use AI report sizable productivity and quality improvements, including working faster and finding more creative solutions. But usage is concentrated among college graduates and managers, raising concerns that AI is amplifying existing job-quality disparities. Forty percent of college grads use AI at least weekly, versus 17% of non-graduates; managers outpace individual contributors as well. Regular users are far likelier to see benefits than sporadic users, underscoring a growing skills and access gap that could shape who captures AI-driven gains. Researchers say broader training and deployment will be critical to ensure the technology lifts more workers.
