Google rolls out Gemini 4 Argon in the Gemini app

Google introduced Gemini 4 Argon to its Gemini app, positioning the upgraded model as a faster, more decisive assistant for complex tasks and coding. The release emphasizes fewer hedged answers, reduced repetition and clearer progress updates during longer workflows. Argon integrates Google’s Antigravity agentic coding interface directly into the Gemini macOS app and adds a one-click switch from conversational chat to background task execution. Gemini now connects with more than 40 third-party services, including Instacart, OpenTable, Adobe and Shopify, to automate tasks like ordering, booking and design work. Access is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers beginning today.
