Google has announced the launch of its “AI Futures Fund,” a new initiative to invest in artificial intelligence startups. Startups selected for the fund will receive investment from Google, early access to advanced AI models, credits for Google Cloud services, and hands-on support from Google employees. This move positions Google alongside rivals like Amazon and Microsoft, who are also heavily investing in the AI sector. The fund aims to support high-potential startups in a market where IPO opportunities are limited due to economic uncertainties. Google has already shown its interest in AI through large investments in companies like Anthropic. The fund will leverage Google’s Gemini models and expertise to help startups develop groundbreaking AI products.
