Instead, it argues that reliance on AI has been driven by a disrupted education system since the Covid-19 pandemic, inconsistent exam formats, and growing financial pressures on students. Many current students never experienced typical national exams and faced ongoing uncertainty with assessment methods, making AI a convenient and sometimes necessary tool. The author calls for universities to standardize assessment practices and clarify expectations for AI use, recognizing that the nature of being a student is rapidly changing.
