Google is rolling out its most advanced artificial intelligence tools, including a new Guided Learning mode, free of charge to college students in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, Korea, and Brazil for 12 months. The initiative, part of a broader $1 billion commitment to support AI education and job training in America, aims to democratize access to cutting-edge AI capabilities such as custom research, smart note-taking, video generation, code assistance, and ample cloud storage. Over 100 U.S. colleges and universities have joined the AI for Education Accelerator, giving students access to both AI learning tools and career training. Google’s investment underscores the increasing importance of AI fluency for the workforce of tomorrow and affirms the company’s strategy of deep integration with global higher education institutions.
