Cloudflare said it acquired Human Native, a U.K.-based marketplace that facilitates data transactions between AI developers and content creators, in a deal whose terms weren’t disclosed. Chief Executive Matthew Prince said the purchase will underpin tools to help developers discover and license high-quality training data and compensate creators when their content is used to train models. The move builds on Cloudflare’s AI Crawl Control, which lets customers restrict or monetize AI web crawlers, and advances the company’s bid to shape data flows for generative AI. Cloudflare shares have risen more than 60% over the past year amid investor enthusiasm for its security and AI offerings.
